I had an overall pleasant stay at the Ibis Hotel Barra. The location was perfect, close to many restaurants and beautiful sights. The room was spacious and well-kept, making it comfortable for relaxing after a long day. I appreciated the friendly staff who were always willing to help. However, I faced some hiccups during my stay. The breakfast price caught me off guard. I thought it was included in my room rate. While the food was delicious, it would be great if they could lower the cost a bit. Another downside was the lack of English-speaking staff, which made check-in somewhat frustrating since I had to use a translator. Additionally, the TV and phone in my room were not functioning properly. that was really inconvenient. The gym was small and overcrowded at times, making it tough to work out. Despite these issues, I enjoyed my time here and would still consider returning, but with some expectations managed.
